Caroline works mainly in acrylic and paints landscapes, interesting buildings and occasionally ‘still lifes’. Her work is inspired by the local countryside and her overseas travels.
NEW ARTIST : David is an emerging artist with a practise based in anti-carpentry and narratives. His work combines meticulous research, wide reading and thought with encyclopaedic reference, ludic intentions and manic humour, proposing vertiginous solutions to the questions posed by history, current affairs, film; those problems and their inevitable concomitant, the unsatisfactory non sequitur.
NEW ARTISTS : We are makers inspired by the natural abundance of materials we find in our garden in Widcombe. Everything we use is gathered right here – from timber and twigs, to pressed flowers. We turn these natural materials into unique, artistic pieces and functional items for the home and beyond. Each item celebrates the beauty of what grows on our doorstep.
Exhibiting at Terrace Café, Prior Park Garden Centre

NEW ARTIST : I am a mixed media textile artist. I love to print, dye and paint my basic materials prior to collaging them into backgrounds I then use free motion embroidery and hand stitch to add line and detail. I am inspired by nature, colour and texture. I live in Saltford and run workshops and create online courses in textile techniques.
NEW ARTIST : I like to paint local landscapes and landmarks. Typically in vibrant acrylic colour. Painting are sometimes overlaid with additional drawing in oil pastel.
NEW ARTIST : I create beautiful, bright bird prints. I hand-screenprint each of my prints and gifts right here in Bath. I’m inspired by British birds as well as more exotic ones from around the world. Each illustration is full of colour and personality. I make prints, notebooks, bookmarks, greetings cards and more!
I find inspiration in the enjoyment of small things – the shape of the vase, the pointed blades of emerging bulbs, the ever-changing skies and the blending of colours that mix with the seasons the challenge is to present these subjects in a fresh manner and experimenting with textures can bring unexpected richness to a canvas! I have lots of cards too !
My mosaics are sometime made in for more formal, Roman style; and sometimes following more recent, folkart traditions, using broken china and other found items. Most recently, I have been making mini-mosaics in sardine tins. Innovations in materials also mean that I can now make more durable mosaics for outdoors too.
I’m a painter who enjoys experimenting in a range of medium – pastel, ink, oil and acrylic. I follow the shapes and colours that emerge and develop the image in what can be an unexpected way. I like the approach to be free and playful, I like to feel I’m having a conversation with the painting.
I enjoy painting on location and work out of doors whenever possible. I use mainly acrylics and aim to capture the colour and movement in the landscape.
NEW ARTIST : Inspired by the streets and buildings of Bath, I have created a photobook that captures the interplay of timeless architecture with fleeting moments of human life. The historical structures of Bath have stood for centuries, witnessing generations of people come and go. My photobook employs photographic techniques that render people as ethereal, fleeting figures against these enduring buildings. This contrast emphasises the idea that people are merely transient custodians of the city’s enduring and historic architecture.
Pippa paints in water colour but sometimes uses mixed media such as inks, ink pens, pencils, ink pencils ,water colour pencils and water soluble oil pastels. Most of her paintings are landscapes but sometimes these are in portrait format.

After retiring from Warwick Business School. I completed an Art Foundation Degree in Worthing, West Sussex. Since 2012, I have lived in Bath and attended courses there and in nearby towns and have exhibited my work locally.
NEW ARTIST : Shay’s signature lies in transforming overlooked fragments of the world—boat hulls, hoarding, doorways, reeds and fossils—into soft, painterly abstractions. She’s drawn to places where surfaces have been weathered and worn, and she layers colour, light and texture until decay and delicacy sit side by side. The result invites you to linger in the quiet, in-between spaces most people walk past.
